Q. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO PREPARE MY SITE FOR HOLE DRILLING?

A.  All holes must be clearly marked.  We recommend using bright spray paint making a large X approximately 3 feet in each direction.  This helps us keep the holes in alignment.

Q. DO I NEED TO CALL DIGGERS HOTLINE?

A.  Yes!  This must be done for everyone's safety.  It can also save you a lot of money.  You would be responsible to pay for any damage done to power or phone lines.  We have a contact for Diggers Hotline on our links page.

Q. WHO TAKES CARE OF PERMITS?

A.  It is the responsibility of the home owner or contractor to have all permits in place prior to the start of the project.  Check with your local building inspector to see if a permit is required.

Q.   HOW MUCH CLEARANCE IS NEED TO ACCESS MY YARD?

A.  We need a minimum of 8 feet to maneuver around your yard.  This means access into yard also between any trees, shrubbery, or buildings in the area.

Q. WHAT IF MY YARD IS FENCED IN?

A.  At least an 8 foot opening is required.  This may mean removing a section of a fence.  This can be done by the home owner or by us for a nominal fee.

Q. CAN MY YARD BE ACCESSED THROUGH MY NEIGHBOR'S YARD?

A.  Yes, but their permission is required.  Again, the "Dandy Digger 25-25" is very lawn friendly.

Q. DO I NEED TO BE PRESENT AT THE TIME THE WORK IS DONE?

A.  Yes, We highly recommend that you are present.  We cannot take responsibility for hole locations and depths if you are not present.

Q. DO I NEED TO BE CONCERNED ABOUT DAMAGE TO MY LAWN OR YARD?

A.  No.  The Dandy Digger's wheels are free rolling when turning, without any skidding, scuffing or binding.  This means no tearing of your sod.
